“Great Recession”… There’s an entire planet of human life.
Let’s analyze government propaganda.
America and several other industrial countries entered the great recession or “late-2000s financial crisis” during 2008. Remember that being poor is bad and we should avoid it. Be afraid of what can lead to poverty and explain to everyone that unemployment is scary because America needs to be strong to protect and serve all people.
Check out this chart.
The U.S. unemployment rate increased to 10.1% by October 2009 which never improved for several months and realistically everyone thought that we were definitely fucked and our lives would end up as bad as those in the ‘country of Africa.’
We all need to complain that poor people need jobs and the government should help out in job creation. It’s either they stay here and die poor or the government and American companies need to help them out.
… Let’s check out a map.
What can be interpreted is that the greener a country is, the better it’s economy was. The countries in green were not really damaged by a “recession.” They, if described as anything, would be seen as having benefited from the plight of the developed nations. Read articles on international trade and whatever, just read. Stay informed kids.
For the first time their economies and people were getting richer compared to the “Western World” which felt the scare of hardship and economic deficit.
We know that China, India, Southeast Asia, Southwest Asia, Brazil and some neighboring countries, and the majority of Saharan and Sub-Saharan Africa all experienced some economic growth. It’s very strange to realize that more than half of the world’s population was doing pretty well or getting better during this time period, These countries had low unemployment rates and rising life expectancy and average incomes but since we live in a rich and awesomesauce country we believe the world is suffering when we suffer when in reality it really is doing pretty well without us.
If you also didn’t notice, communist countries all gained some wealth too. But remember what you’ve heard from American media: All communist countries are poorly run and their people are always suffering or are blindly following and have no idea how much their lives suck, trust the media reports, all communist run countries are bad. There are never good moments in strong imposing government societies and anything filmed appears to be an event that costs a lot of money or if people are smiling, remember they are smiling because they are afraid of the government and no one is really happy or they’re brainwashed. All expensive affairs are pointless and ill intended. Idolizing a communist leader is wrong, they’re all brainwashed, oh… having a televised government paid wedding for one of the heirs of the United Kingdom is completely acceptable, they’re not communist. It’s ok.
ANYWAY…
Let’s check out a map of the U.S.A.
Immigration I say? There are constant reports of people unemployed who have college educations in America and heavily industrialized nations. They live in the streets and survive on welfare and other government aid, or they just get by with the aid from family or kind strangers. Thats cool.
…We have to realize that the world is open to employment. An entire planet guys.
We have all heard the story that America was build on immigrants who wanted a better life because their home country was too poor or just crappy that they felt the need to leave their families, home, childhood and everything they knew to travel somewhere else for employment.
I know it could be considered “an asshole thing to say,” but what if an unemployed person in America, with a college degree, decided to learn a new language and culture in order to move somewhere else to find a better life. …It’s too messed up. I know. No one in America has parents or ancestors who came from somewhere to find a job. Everyone has ancestral origins in the exact home they grew up in. No one should look for a better life elsewhere. Everyone should just wait and be poor and complain that things suck.
Illegal Mexican immigrants seemed to have a low unemployment rates. They tend to live structured and purposeful lives. They actually find work in a land that isn’t there’s because they realize they can’t find a job where they live and they don’t care if it sucks. They just want to live and do well.
Let’s reassess our economic condition. mhmm.
